Last week, we talked about the power of endings—how breakthroughs often come on the other side of letting go of what no longer serves us. But here’s the thing: before we can choose what to end, we first have to notice it.
That’s where the real work begins.
It’s easy to move through life on autopilot, sticking with old habits, beliefs, and patterns simply because they feel familiar. But when we slow down and start paying attention, we uncover the things that are holding us back—the limiting beliefs, the draining habits, the toxic relationships.
This week, I want to challenge you to notice. Notice what’s working and what’s not. Notice what feels aligned and what doesn’t. Because the first step to any breakthrough is awareness. And awareness begins with noticing.

Action: Spend 10 minutes at the end of each day reflecting on what truly mattered—and what didn’t. Ask yourself:
- What moment felt the most meaningful today, and why?
- Where did I spend time or energy that didn’t serve me?
- What is one thing I can do differently tomorrow to be more aligned with my goals?
By taking a few moments to notice what’s working (and what’s not), you’ll start to uncover hidden opportunities to grow and make intentional adjustments—small changes that lead to big breakthroughs.

Stop neglecting the present moment.
Instead of trying to do five things at once, commit to being fully present in one task today. For example:
- While in a meeting or conversation, set aside distractions (close your laptop, silence your phone).
- During your workday, identify your single most important task—and give it your full attention for 20 minutes, uninterrupted.
- When spending time with loved ones, pause, breathe, and give them your undivided attention.
Multitasking isn’t just about splitting your focus—it’s about robbing yourself of the power of noticing. And noticing is where clarity, connection, and creativity are born. Choose presence over busyness today.
